The Library of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture is located in the middle section of Cangshan Road, Dali City, which has won the title of National History and Culture City, National Scenic Spot and Best Charming City in China. The museum was opened on July 1, 1957. During the 30th anniversary birthday of the Autonomous Prefecture, a new museum was built, covering an area of 32.03 mu. The main building has an area of 6273 square meters. It is a "garden like library" which integrates the Bai People's construction style and the essence of Jiangnan gardens. The collection of 360,000 books, with Nanzhao and Dali ancient books as the focus and characteristics, belongs to the director of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture Cultural Bureau.

Our library is a "civilized library" of the first-level National Library and the Ministry of Culture, an advanced collective of national cultural work, and a library loved by readers. It has been praised four times as a "civilized unit" at the provincial level, and has been awarded provincial "double support model unit", "civilized unit" at the state level and "garden unit" at the municipal level.
